- Successive inclusions in prestigious list underline Nordic Capital’s commitment to developing strong talent
Joakim Andreasson, Managing Director (formerly Principal) at Nordic Capital Advisors and a member of its Industrial & Business Services team, has been included in Real Deals’ Future 40 Investment Leaders 2022 (in association with Board Equity). This list highlights “the top 40 mid-market private equity investment professionals who achieved commendable exits in 2021” and maintains Nordic Capital’s reputation for developing strong talent.
Since joining in 2008, Joakim has played a significant role in supporting the value creation of a number of Nordic Capital portfolio companies, with a focus on the Industrial & Business Services sector. As a board member and sounding board to the management team of Cary Group, Joakim made considerable contributions to the value creation of the Company, helping it to become one of the leaders in Europe’s vehicle glass repair and replacement market. Cary Group was successfully listed on Nasdaq Stockholm in September 2021 after a 3.5-year ownership period during which it grew fourfold as a result of an impressive organic growth and active acquisition programme.
The judges of the Future 40 Investment Leaders-list were impressed with Joakim’s active leadership in advising Cary Group. Furthermore, he is also part of the team that supported Intrum in becoming a European industry-leading provider of Credit Management Services.
Joakim is credited by his colleagues for his strong investor mindset and execution capabilities as well as his collaborative approach to teamwork and partnership with portfolio companies.
Andreas Näsvik, Partner and Head of Industrial & Business Services, Nordic Capital Advisors commented: “Joakim is a highly valued member of our Industrial and Business Services team. His impressive skill set and cooperative approach to working with colleagues make him a strong asset to any team or board. Joakim was instrumental to the investment in Cary Group as it grew to become one of the leaders in Europe’s sustainable car care market, and I commend him and the wider team for their considerable achievements.”
