Nordic Capital expects portfolio companies to incorporate sustainability considerations into their business strategy and value creation plans while achieving their climate and environmental targets and actively mitigating their greenhouse gas emissions.
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) offers guidelines for companies to set science-based emission reduction targets. In 2023, Nordic Capital committed to near-term targets at both firm and portfolio level, aligning with the latest climate science and the Paris Agreement goals. These targets are set to be validated in 2024.
